So, You've Been Diagnosed. What Now?

Let Data Drive Decisions, Not Fear

Your doctor currently only looks at what your body has done—but we know you also need data on what your body will do.
By using predictive data to drive treatment decisions, you can control your journey, improve outcomes, and reduce recurrence risk.
The typical cancer journey uses just two types of data. That's the tip of the iceberg. You should use 13 types of data to measure your body's health, your environment, and the cancer itself.
Why does the additional data matter? It will help you to:
1. Understand why your body & environment was welcoming to cancer.
2. Predict if a treatment will work (genomics of the tumor).
3. Measure if a treatment was working (blood biomarkers).
4. Identify what you could do to avoid suffering from side effects.
Don't you also want to know the answer to those questions? Of course you do! But it's not included the Standard of Care, so you have to be empowered to advocate for yourself. Before you do ANYTHING (surgery, chemo, radiation, etc.) - get baseline data.
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work
There are 6 toolboxes you can leverage in your healing journey. Medical school only teaches one (Pharmaceuticals) so it is up to you to identify experts to support nutrition, vitamins and supplements, lifestyle, environment, and other healing approaches.

Trust, But
Be Skeptical
Be data driven so that you can challenge standards of care and assumptions when necessary.
For example, did you know most of the time your cancer isn’t urgent and has been growing silently for many years without you knowing?
Did you know the current standard of care doesn’t measure to ensure chemo will work before administering it? You likely have time to prepare your body (it's about to go through hell!) and let YOUR data guide your actions - not what is profitable and easy for the doctor/hospital to administer.
Find Your Flow
Do something every day that makes your soul happy. This could be singing, dancing, basket weaving, running, drawing, planning parties…. Whatever makes you happy to do - do more of it.
Gather Your Tribe
Healing from cancer is a team sport. You need all of your energy to heal - so if someone will help cooking, cleaning, driving kids to practice, wrapping holiday presents, walking your pet, let them! You only have so many hours in the day - and right now healing is your number one job! It gets expensive to heal from cancer and not just treat your cancer cells- so we have built a registry so your community can help you with what really matters to your health!
Heal Smarter, Not Harder
Build a strategy to heal the root causes, strengthen your immune system AND treat cancer.
Your oncologist is only focused on treating cancer - so you need to do the rest!
We have built an amazing tool on our website to help you avoid side effects.
Celebrate the Small Wins
Complicated health issues like cancer are often a nonlinear journey - Celebrate the big AND small wins along the path! For me, it was incredibly helpful to have baseline data and track leading indicators so I always knew the score on my cancer instead of having major anxiety.
